BUSY DOING NOTHING

But Martha was cumbered about much serving ......(Luke 10:40)

Being busy is a normal thing in the world of our age but being busy without having anything to do can be termed as time wastage for nothing will your busy-ness amount to.

In our Christian day to day activities and also in the church of God, many of us believers fall into the category of sister Martha who really loved to serve the Lord Jesus, we love to prepare the most delicious meal for him in our singing, ministration, Prayer or by preaching a very touching and high knowledgeable sermon on the pew of our church or by being a vibrant worker in his vineyard and still when all will be summed up, it's still amounting to zero, irrelevant, unknown by the heavenly why? Because we are busy doing the right thing at the wrong time.

I used to pity many church workers whenever my understanding is opened in the church, who usually goes about in every service to make sure the program goes well and that everything is in place and order, not because I'm lazy or I do not belong to a workforce in my church too but because they are carried away most often by these activities which deprives the higher percentage of them the blessing being passed across in every service. Pls get my message well and don't criticize my pen for writing this; I don't dispute you or anyone from being a committed worker but the question is, is that where God really wants you to function in his house?

I have seen different men of God operating under God's annointing and delivering many of their members but hardly will you see most of the workers among the delivered, blessed and liberated. Is it that their lives are already perfected, God forget them or He God is partial? No, because all what they are in church for is to perform their Church duty and this is not only limited to only Church members or workers, there are also ministers of God who are busy but when their depth is searched, nothing will be found there, they only appear in church to preach, when Chorister are ministering, they are not moved, during Sunday school, they are busy, they go from pillar to post delivering messages, they are seeing in different conferences posters and fliers but in the real sense are wasting their time because they fail to do what God requires, they don't have a seat in the school of the spirit, they have graduated from the school of humility, to become notice by men and popularity is their priority while some are for financial purposes. Will you detach yourself from the kitchen and come sitting at the feet of the greatest Rabbi today?

Also, been busy doing nothing does not only end with those carry the vessel of God, it also involves you, yes I mean you reading this article, you donate your offering in every service, you pay your tithe regularly, you sow seeds for church growth and development but in the real sense do not know who God is, your heart is not circumcised, you have not been regenerated and have not been born again. May I tell you that you are the Person that waste most of his time that I ever know in my life because you have not chose that which that will not be taken away from you but have chosen to be cumbered about much serving.

Hear what the word of the Lord says;

But one thing is needful: and Mary (those who confess Jesus as their Lord and saviour and become a new being ) hath chosen that good part(Salvation), which shall not be taken away from her. (Luke 10:42) 

Will you switch your interest from being busy doing nothing today and come to the place of learning and becoming like Jesus? If yes congratulations and say these few prayer with me as I lead you to Christ.

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge myself as a sinner today, please accept me and wash me in your blood, wipe my name from the book of death and write in the book of Life, give me the joy of salvation and keep me by your grace to the end, I'm saved and free forever in Jesus name.

Congratulations once again and welcome to the company of the sons and daughters of God where the priority is to learn of Jesus and become like him.
