YOU CAN'T HAVE MY KIND OF RESULTS.....
Jesus immediately asked the zebedee's if they can drink from the cup he would be drinking from, though they said yes but it was unfortunate they feared away when the cup eventually came.
These are the words spoken much of the patriarch of this our days; DONT EXPECT TO HAVE MY KIND OF REWARD IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE WHAT I DID.
It's good for us to yearn and crave for results/ reward or whichever name it's called but it's bad if all what we want and go after is only reward.
Reward doesn't just come as it implies, it's an end to a means, something must have been done before reward surfaces. Reward usually is locked up in a room but what open door for reward always is a task, responsibility and labour, no matter how a man wait at the door where reward is locked up in, if he is not having/holding the key of labour that would open it, he will just stay there for years without him showing forth any results.
As it's impossible for any athletes to take a gold medal without partaking in a race, so it's impossible for anyone to have a reward without a labour.
What do you do, what have you done is what you will be asked whenever you get to the place of reward, it's the evidence of your labor that will qualify you for reward.
It's somewhat saddened in our generation to see us running after men of God to lay hands on us for Impartation so we can have double portion of their powerš, what a waste of time it's cos no matter who lay hands on you, if you do not do what he has done, you will still end up as though no one imparts you, there's a responsibility of fanning such a deposit to flame by you, no one does that on behalf of someone.
Elisha carried the double portion of Elijah because he labored, the disciples did greater things compared to that of Jesus because they waited.
If we must walk and work in power as of our fathers then we must be ready to do what they did, our charisma can't do anything if we have not labored, our replication of their way of ministering will only make us duplicate version of them and not the real one except we labor, we can just declare we can never be poor and yet living in penury if we cannot sold ourself out for God the way the father did.
We really want to stand only on the pulpit and command the dead to come back to life, we want to minister and have great numbers of people healed and surrender their lives to Jesus, we want to also be a force to reckon with in our days.
All of these can be achieved only if we are willing to pay the price the father's paid.
Are you willing?
.....we shall pray
