GERSHOM concluding series

During one of those years, the famine was so severe in the land of Agbor which cost almost everyone their belongings because they exchanged their properties for food but GERSHOM and his mother were very poor without any property to use in exchange for food which prompts his mother decision to visit the king to please help her provide some foodstuffs to feed herself and her only son but unfortunately, the king put her in a very critical condition.

The condition was so critical that this woman was lost in her thoughts and she resolved to hear her friends instructions on it and on relaying the whole thing for her friends, she was advised to give in to it. The king requested for her only son to be adopted as a prince for her to be enriched in return, hmm..what a great trial it is for this woman who has been nursing her child from pregnancy to that age of life, she tried harder for a long period of time to resist the temptation of loosing her child because of food but it got to a time when she couldn't get help anywhere that she surrendered giving it a try and with much persuasion from her friends that at least the boy remains her's for ever, it's only that he wouldn't be living with her anymore and it's the king that will be catering for the boys expenses, so she gave in and trade her treasured GERSHOM for wealth.

What a tragedy that is!

Why can't she endured a little more with her son and watch him grows and become rich, why can't she turned down the offer?

GERSHOM mother become a wealthy and influential personality in the community and after some years, she purpose in her heart to return back to her community where she came from with her husband and she dress herself with costly garment and ornaments with so much guards and followers but surprisingly to her when she get to the city border, she was asked of her GERSHOM; she asked how did they know of him, what does he have to do with her entrance and she was told that her son will be her entrance ticket and without him she won't be allowed to enter into their city for the king has declared that no sojourner must return from their journey without there evidence which is a son.

With much haste and anxiety, GERSHOM mother return to Agbor palace to request for his son but unfortunately for her, GERSHOM has been used as a sacrifice to prolong the life of the King and the king explained further that it was well known to him that it's only GERSHOM that can Grant her mother the access to leave her village and he doesn't want her to depart from under his rulership, that was why he cunningly requested for him in exchange to enrich her.

Yes I am back and I know your heart is beating and Running at the same time now thinking a million times about what you have traded your salvation with and the grace of God in your life.

The mother here is you and GERSHOM is your salvation and grace of God upon you, they are the assets given to you by God to be relevant in this kingdom even without material things or wealth but in your Ignorance and negligence you have traded it with your boyfriend/girlfriend Love,love for fame and power, love for wealth and riches, forgetting that you are a sojourner here on earth.

Your own time of return and departure like GERSHOM mother is knocking at the door when you will have to return back to where you come from, will GERSHOM still be intact under your care, will you be able to provide him as your entrance ticket on that day?

It's never too late now, you can still returned all those glittery substance Satan used to entice you to collect your GERSHOM back to him so as to retrieve your son back to yourself.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, but lose his soul?" -Mark 8:3

Your son GERSHOM has the potential to make you wealthy and become rich here on Earth if you nurture and train him well for blessed are they who are poor in spirit, theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

If indeed you have traded your best ever asset(salvation) for anything here in the world and you truly want to retrieve it back before it's too late, pray this simple prayer below with all sincerity.

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge myself as a sinner, please forgive me all my sins and wash me clean by your precious blood, come to my life and save me by your grace, write my name in the book of Life and be my Lord and savior in Jesus name.
