GERSHOM series one

And if i tell you this is happening to you now, you will not believe me, but I will tell you either you believe it or not.

GERSHOM as it implies means EXILED; there you are, shocked? Ok I will simplify it because I can see you are rebuking it that God won't allow you been taken to Exile or Slavery, but you are already in a strange land where you are a sojourner and pilgrimage working day and night to gather something for your home which is the best Idea ever but you seems to have lost the only assets you have ever acquired in this strange land for all these days of your toil, No! You said? Okay, let's go through this shirt story together for better understanding.

There was once a woman who traveled with her husband to a very distant village called Agbor, there they settled down and worked all their life to gather wealth and riches before returning home, but it seems the land is not in support of their fortune, because instead of them to become rich from their labour, reverse is the case and they continue to endure with the hope that one day things will change for better.

In their daily toil and labour, the woman conceived and they were blessed with a son whom on christening was named GERSHOM, meaning God has blessed me with a son in a strange land but with the arrival of this baby, things remain the same for this couple and in this their wretchedness they manage to raise the young boy and he grew in stature and was good to look upon.

When the boy was 5 years old, his father died due to little illness which they couldn't provide adequate treatment to for they were poor and the woman began to train her son.

After 3 years, GERSHOM has grown to be an 8 years old boy and his handsomeness was like unto the David's which made him the choice of all the village inhabitants and this made his mother to be a little bit relaxed that she has something to look upon and a hope that he will one day take him to the city where she comes from when he grows to become a man but unfortunately she lost her only son.

How possible is this, she asked as if she was dreaming, she couldn't get hold of what happened, the incident of her not been able to get in touch with her only son was dawned on her.
