HAVING DONE ALL....FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS

....exploring the differences between a winner and a champion

Doesn't it seems good finishing all? The accolades, the applauses and the ovation can always overwhelmed because seeing us  such a big and great task can cause men to sing There is a clear difference between a winner and a champion" of us and giving we ourself some sense of at least I have tried and I am done but here is a little advice for you; After you have done all, take some instructions and follow them.

Standing or relaxing is good not enough for a conqueror, your life is not designed to be static, as the world evolves so another battle surface and it takes a man who see the life as a battle ground or an untilled ground to seek for more manual in operating the life machine.

Yes, I congratulate you on your victory over lust, pride and others but there are still more battles to win, you cannot win a battle over your phillistine once and then relax because they understand the power of retreat and consistency and they will always devise another strategy of attacking their opponents.
It will be a suicidal decision for you as soldier to sit down relaxed thinking the battle is won, No it's not Sir!

King Solomon was one of the most successful king in history, he was a well to do monarch during his reign until he achieved a great feat which no one of the kings ever matched or surpassed not even his Father King David, for he built a great house for the Lord, something happened to his Giants and winner unknown to him, he thought all was been achieved though he had rest all around him according to the word of God but his COMPLACENCY brought a great disaster upon him and his reigns.

He built a temple for God and he descended to bless him in return at the temple dedication which you will believe he need not doing anything again but an instruction was given to him to follow which will enlist him in the book of the champions and not a winner.

As for you [Solomon], if you will walk before me as David your father walked, and do all I have commanded you, and observe My statutes and My ordinances,then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, There shall not fail you a man to be ruler in Israel. (2 Chronicle 7:17-18)

The Lord instructed king Solomon to follow just an instruction to be reckoned with as a champion after the other of his father David but he failed.

A champion is not known by the numbers of battles he fight but by the number of battles he won

Apostle Paul said;
AMP:I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith; [As to what remains] henceforth there is laid up for me the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me and recompense me on that [great] day—and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and yearned for and welcomed His appearing (His return). (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

The scripture above simply means he had constantly be winning different battles over flesh, , temptations,powers and principalities and he is now a champion, a winner is not crown if his winning streak is not consistent.

AMP:Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours. (1 Corinthians 9 :24

There is a clear difference between a winner and a champion and the difference is consistent winning

King Saul won a great victory over the Amalekites but guess what! He lost to disobedience and was reckoned to as a mere winner who never had a crown or a trophy through out his service.

If you must emerge a champion, you must stick to your coach instructions and block your ear to the ovation from the crowd and the spectators.

Bro Paul said this to the church at Ephesus;
AMP:Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].(Ephesians 6:13)

The instructions needed of you after every battle is what apostle Paul spelt out here in Eph 6:13, to remain standing always no matter how tired and worn out you are as a warrior, be on the look out for another fight.

If you must remain a constant winner and later emerge a champion, you must follow the instructions given by your team coach strictly and leave none of them behind.

An hymnal verse reads;
Christian seek not yet repose
Hear the guardian angel say,
Thou art in the midst of foes;
Watch and pray

As I cover my pen, That victory over masturbation and lies does not make you a champion yet, you must take instructions from God and adhere to it wholly before you become a champion. After you have done all thinking all is over.....there are still much more to do and more ahead. Beware!!!
.....we shall pray ✍️
