YOU CAN BE INITIATED

Initiation is an act of somebody becoming a member of a group,often with a special ceremony or an act of introducing somebody to an activity or skill.

Your understanding about what initiation is is quite different from what you think, it is even more deeper and wider than what dictionary spelt it out to be, it's a process of making you become what you don't wish to become oftentimes and atimes with your consent due to peer pressure or threat.

Many of the youths today have been initiated into different ideas,skills,belief, lifestyle and culture which are quite different from what they are used to from their background because they lack discernment and strongly trust their friends and Immediate environment.

The acts of initiation these days doesn't necessarily involve any ritual or ceremony as it's defined by Oxford dictionary but it come in a very simplify and subtle manner through which the victim to be initiated will not suspect s/he is undergoing a process of initiation. Saul before he was enthroned as a king over isreal was initiated into the groups of the prophet without him been one before hand and people marvelled to see him prophesying in the manner of the prophet.

And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them. (1Samuel 10:10)

Satan has invented many ways today through which he initiate the youths into his kingdom which are unknown to many for they are not visible or requires any physical processes, he (Satan) through fashion, movies/television, internet, music,foods, interest, games have initiate many and even through their friends who by their word used to initiate some to their ideology which are contrary to the standard of God.

Samuel initiated Saul to the group of the prophet without undergoing any process or ritual but through his word...

And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.( 1 Samuel 10:6)

He only spoke in his hearing in the manner of friends or mentor and he (Saul) became a prophet prophesying within some hours, so also you have been initiated by just mere words from your friend and mentor.

Was it not just an idea your friend shared with you that change your heart and actions, was it not when she told you dressing half-naked is not bad you start to dress indecently, was it not when s/he told you to have sex before marriage is not a big deal you turn to a prostitute and lose your virginity and dignity, was it not when he told you hoodwinking a foreigner is a means to succeed as guy you become a fraudster, was it not when he told you be fetish as a young minister is the only means to be reckoned with you sold and lost your soul to the devil.....What has been used to initiate you?

Dinah believed she cannot be initiated by the daughters of the land the way you always believed but she was missing it and before she knew it, she was already in the band of the defiled...You can be initiated. Stop saying my heart is what God deals with  and I can listen to any music, watch any movie,dress the way I like, visit wherever I wish and start minding the kind of friends you keep, the cloth you wear and the word you speak.

Your initiator does not need your opinion nor your consent before they initiate you, they no longer take people through ritualistic process before they are initiated and all what they need is to embed the process required for the initiation in  a word, movie, music, cloth and ideas and before you get yourself you already belong to their fold.

Guard your heart with the word of the Lord always, avoid bad company as they corrupt your good manners and flee from any appearance of evil to maintain your membership and sonship in the kingdom of Christ.
