DO IT YOUR OWN WAY..... NEGLECTING NOT THE ELDER'S ADVISE

God be praised for the previous published series and all thanks to him for those who have been blessed, will be bless and have their eyes open by it. On this last series, our focus is yet to shift from you doing it the way God instructs you and how you know how to do it best but it's to encourage you to embrace counsel from those whom God has given wisdom to advice you in all that you do. It's not that God cannot wrought great victories or miracles through you but he really want you to be accounted to someone.

Talking about Holy spirit here means, I am committing you to someone authority, whom you must heeds his advice and counsel, these elderly advise will help you to lessen the burden on you and help to give you insight of where you are going and shapen your character as you advance.

AMP:Where there is no counsel, purposes are frustrated, but with many counselors they are accomplished.( Proverbs 15:22)

AMP:Where no wise guidance is, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety ( Proverbs 11:14)

As great and influential Moses was, yet he was subjected to someone advise for him to be free from unnecessary burdens (Exodus 18:17-23)

Most of we the youths of this age are not ready to take counsel anymore and it has caused many to misbehave and go astray, it has cost many their lives, ministry, marriage and even job. There is no how you can run your affairs alone without help and advice from others, they are the guidelines you follow to achieve your aims.

AMP:Purposes and plans are established by counsel; and [only] with good advice make or carry on war.( Proverbs 20:18)

If you run alone in any race, wearing out and tiredness is inevitable because of lack of motivation but when you keep a word of counselor in your heart even in the most turbulent storm of life it keep you going. (Psalms 119:11)

The place of self ideas and reliability I emphasized should not be forgotten, but as much necessary and compulsory it is, so also the training of your master and advice (Proverbs 11:14), I tell you many would have been a great man in business,politics,ministry and career if they had listen to a piece of advice from others for nothing in this world is too difficult to achieve for whoever that has a good counselor and whoever that neglects the counsel of others will live to face his own doom.

AMP:And the king answered the people roughly and forsook the counsel the old men had given him....( I kings 12:13)

AMP:So when all Israel saw that the king did not heed them, they answered the king, What portion have we in David? We have no inheritance in the son of Jesse. To your tents, O Israel! Look now to your own house, David! So Israel went to their tents. (1 Kings 12:16)

Your ability to see sense in what others offers you help you to grow and bring you near the edge of victory in every battle of life. Most often, the counselor may not be wise as you are or may be too low to your Calibre like that of Naaman and his maid but if you are submissive enough to heed advise, victory will be the end result.

The likes of Moses, Joshua,Samuel, Timothy and others were advised by Jethro,Moses,Eli and Apostle Paul and all of these Generals had victories as result for their submissiveness. Be flexible enough in your decision by applying Godly advice given to you by your mentor, pastor, or your fellows into your ideas to get your own accurate result in your pursuit of success and victory.

I will end the series like this; be focus and determine to do everything your own way, no one does it better than you but do not forget what your master taught you when you were still in the wilderness and be sure you consider Jethro's advise to lessen the burden on your neck as you planned to advance into your promise and land of fulfilment.
