DO IT YOUR OWN WAY (series two)

Before I continue from the previous series of this article, I want to make it clear that this article is not in a mission of encouraging insolency, disloyalty,and pride but to bring us to the place of identifying our God given potentials in performing our task and making impact in our generation.

KJV:And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.(I Samuel 17:40)

In the previous series, I addressed us to put off the Saul's armour so as for us to proceed into the battle front with what we are used to , it will be of no effect when you are using spear to fight where sword is needed because you see someone fought there yesterday with a spear.

Our approach to Christianity these days is appalling, and our approach towards power, annointing is quite different from how it should be, the rate at which many of us runs towards the generals ahead for their armour is grievous because we really desire to win or conquer territories with the method they use to have their own victories in their days. Not that our desire is bad but I assure you that if you receive those armours, it will not be useful for you, they are heavy for the type of battle you are going to fight.(1 Samuel 17:39)

Moses laid his hand on Joshua, no dispute about this but do you know that Joshua had been in secret place for 80 days (40 days consecutively) without eating with Moses? He was full of wisdom and the spirit of God the scripture says because he already laid a foundation to bear the weight of what is coming on him in the secret place. Inspite of his intimacy with Moses, Joshua did it in his own way and in accordance to the leading of God, Moses stretch his hand over Red sea but Joshua stepped the feet of the priest's on the water and they both get the same result, Saul used to fight with his weapons of war and David fought with his slings and strips and same result was achieved. Stop doing it the way they do it, use your own method, speak the way God instructs you, move the way he moves you, run your ministry according to the specifications given to you on the mountain and not the way you see people running theirs and believe me, same result will be the outcome.

If you are still using Moses tactics of possessing territories where you ought to shout for Jericho wall to fall, you may be shut out of the territory where you ought to be a King.
